All our manufacturing units strictly comply with the international food safety and hygiene standards, including U.S.-F.D.A, ASTA and EU regulations. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Quality Monitoring Systems (QMS) are in place in most of our facilities.
| HACCP Certificate Indian Products Limited, spice plant at Coimbatore has been audited and certified under The Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system to be in compliance with US FDA/European Union Regulations and CODEX/WHO general principles of food hygiene and HACCP system guidelines for production and distribution of spice products in whole, crushed, and ground forms. |
| HALAL Certificate Our manufacturing unit in Coimbatore is also certified by Halal India as per Islamic laws. |
| BRC Certification Our manufacturing and distribution capabilities have been certified to meet the BRC (British Retail Consortium) global standards of food safety specified by branded manufacturers in the European Union. |
| Organic Certification Black Pepper processed and exported from our Spice Plant at Kinathukadvu has been certified 100% Organic by Control Union Certifications in accordance with the requirements of the National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) India and the National Organic Program (NOP) technical standards (USA). |
All spice products being manufactured at Kinathukadavu Spice Plant of Indian Products Limited have been certified by the Orthodox Union to be complying with Kosher, Jewish dietary laws.
The Kinathukadavu unit is one of the first Indian facilities to be audited by US Customs under a voluntary program of customs and trade partnership against terrorism.
NABL Certification
Government of India has authorized NABL as the sole accreditation body for Testing and Calibration laboratories. NABL has established its Accreditation System in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011:2004, which is followed internationally. NABL also compiles to the requirement of APLAC MR001 for the fulfilment of APLAC MRA and ILAC Arrangements. Our in-house quality Lab at Kinathukadvu Spice facility is undergoing NABL audit for certification of our testing competencies and Calibration services.
